Developer Diary: LOTRO LUA Scripting

User Interface: An Important Factor for Games.

Some games require only a very minimalistic UI while others, like MMOs, require a more complicated UI to provide players with the large amount of information vital to their gameplay. The Lord of the Rings Online™ has quite a bit going on behind the scenes. While our engineers, designers, and artists have always tried to expose the appropriate information in helpful ways, our development tools and time restraints have not always allowed us to present this information to players in the way we truly wanted. In addition to those constraints, a truly “perfect” UI can never really be achieved without allowing user customization since every user has a unique vision of what their “perfect UI” might look like. The addition of a “UI skinning” system into the game way back in 2007 was a step in the right direction, but we (as well as many of you!) still wanted more.

Since becoming a game systems engineer on LOTRO in late 2007, I have formed a love-hate relationship with our UI and over time became the “go-to guy” for UI on my team. I’ve always wanted more from our system and would tell anyone who would listen exactly how much more I wanted. About a year ago, my complaints/requests/whining fell on the ears of “ForsakenArcher,” one of our talented internal tools engineers. The two of us were joined by my good friend “Agiclaw” (who also works as a tools engineer) and spoke at length about the shortcomings of our UI (both the system itself and its use in game) and how much of a massive boon a scripting system could be for us in that area. In our talks, Lua rose to the forefront given its successful use by many other games. Ever the ambitious fellow, Forsaken asked me to bring in the books I had about Lua scripting and its usage to investigate how we could get such a thing into our game. In a short time, Forsaken had what he needed to kick off our prototyping by creating a system by which Lua scripts could be loaded into our game and be given access to functions we could specify. So began “Lua in LOTRO’s” journey into reality.

Given the basic system in place, the long journey began to prove that a Lua scripting interface would, without a doubt, be worth the effort. Many an hour was spent researching (some of you may recall my forum post of “What drives you crazy about our UI?”) and writing pitch documents, presentations, comparisons, and all the fun things needed to prove the point that Lua could be a huge boon to us while our prototype anxiously awaited to be shown off.

Eventually, our rag-tag trio (Forsaken, Agiclaw, and I) with the crucial managerial aid of the one and only “Frosty,” proved to the Powers That Be that at least the user customization side of Lua was “no longer if, but when.” At this point Free-to-Play development was about to swing into full force so our window of opportunity for trying to get Lua into Volume III Book 2 (aka F2P launch) was closing fast. I was approved to use what time we had left to work on the game system APIs (these are the function sets that Lua users are able to call to get information out of the game) while the designers were still finalizing our FreeToPlay initiatives from their side. Meanwhile, Forsaken and Agiclaw were given leave to use their allowed “pet project time” completely on Lua. In addition, many personal hours were dedicated to the project. While we didn’t get everything we had hoped for in the project’s release, we did reach a point where we felt it was a great start and could be launched with the caveat of it still being in a “Beta stage,” much like our initial releases of DirectX10 and Quest Guide.

Now that you know the basic history of how Lua came to be integrated into our game for the purposes of UI customization, it‘s time for me to stop rambling and simply give you a glance into what the actual system is capable of. Functionality is exposed to Lua scripts in chunks of functions know as “APIs.” We are launching with a myriad of basic UI APIs (such as text boxes, windows, buttons, etc.), and three primary gameplay APIs that were chosen based on player feedback about the current UI limitations. The reason for only having three major gameplay APIs for the initial launch was simply due to time constraints, and the list of available APIs is intended to grow with future LOTRO content updates. The three gameplay APIs that will be available at launch are as follows:

Quickslots - Allows for the creation and customization of additional quickslots.

Player self-vitals - Exposes effect information as well as health and morale for only yourself – party member and target vitals did not make it in for this release due to time constraints and will be addressed in a future update.

Inventory - Allows for custom organization of your inventory. For example, creating a single-bag view of your character inventory.

As I said at the start, our goals were purely centered on UI modifications and not introducing otherwise obscured information or allowing players to do things they couldn’t otherwise do (such as “bot-ing” or “macro-ing”). There will not be a way to execute skills or use items through Lua scripts. We also do not allow the simulation of mouse-clicks in any way. These limits are in place to prevent any kind of automation of gameplay. Another intentional limit is that while we do expose inventory information, it is only for your own inventory and does not give you information on the items of another player. Yes, that does indeed mean that there is no functionality for any “gear score comparison” type add-ons.

The future of Lua in LOTRO is a bright one. While the current functionality is certainly limited, we fully intend to continue the development of this system so that both existing and new game systems will expose functionality to the user, allowing for a much more personalized user interface.

To give you a brief glimpse into what we are investigating, the completion of the vitals API to expose party member and target vitals is on the top of our “to-do” list. We’ll also continue to keep an eye out for feedback on the UI and indentify additional pain points where Lua can help improve the player experience. Here is just a small taste of some of the areas we have on our radar to investigate (in no particular order):

Vault UI

Mouse cursors

Chat window customization

Kinship UI

We have passed a proving stage with this system, due largely in part to all of you and your feedback. We hope you enjoy what we were able to put together so far and that you will continue to provide us with constructive feedback as we grow this system over time.

Special thanks:

ForsakenArcher and Agiclaw; without their work and dedication, we could never have hoped to have anything like this system for many a year to come, if ever

Frosty; for coming in during the most stressful moments and proving vital for us to push this system into approval

ZombieColumbus, Amlug, and all the other designers; for helping to support us as we sought approval for this system

Our Beta Testers and all of our players; without your support and feedback, a system like this would never come to pass

-Narrel

Book 2 is almost here, so let's talk about crafting! This update brings improvements for two more crafting professions, revisions to many older reputation recipes, a bunch of new class item recipes for Tailors, and updates for crafted Athelas Essence and Celebrant Salve potions made by Scholars.

Weaponsmith & Woodworker Profession Improvements

Continuing with the improvements in Book 1 for the Cook and Jeweller professions, Book 2 introduces an arsenal of new crafted weapons for Weaponsmiths and Woodworkers alike! All weapons crafted by weaponsmiths and woodworkers after the arrival of Book 2 will have revised stats and damage types. Similar to the improvements for crafted jewellery, weapon stats have been completely redesigned, from Apprentice to Supreme.

Changes to Mastery & Critical Success

We’ve changed the way crafting mastery works, allowing Apprentice crafters to use optional ingredients and to experience critical success upon completing proficiency (previously, both proficiency and mastery needed to be completed). With the benefits of critical success and mastery options made available while working towards completing mastery, we hope players will find the crafting experience to be more exciting and rewarding than before!

All craft professions and tiers have been updated to allow use of optional ingredients and the chance for critical successes once proficiency for a given tier has been completed. Remember though, in order to unlock mastery for your current tier, you must complete proficiency for that tier as well as mastery for all previous tiers.

Farmer, Forester, and Prospector Profession Quests

We’ve added new profession quests for the Farmer, Forester, and Prospector professions. Adding these quests brings more consistency amongst all craft professions. It allows us more opportunities to provide important information to crafters, such as new resources and facility locations.

Revision for Many Reputation Recipes

We’ve updated many of the existing reputation item recipes to improve experience rewards, better balance the required ingredients used, and to allow use of optional ingredients to aid in critical successes! The following recipes have been updated with this change:

Cook: Seasoned Beef with Cauliflower Recipe, Strawberry Dessert Wine Recipe, Honey-roasted Chicken Recipe

Forester: Treated Black Ash Heartwood Recipe, Gossamer Thread Recipe

Jeweller: Dwarf-jewel Recipe, Polished Moonstone Recipe, Dwarf-ring Recipe, Dwarf-necklace Recipe

Metalsmith: Crest of Vigilance Recipe, Crest of Valour Recipe, Icon of Heroes Recipe

Prospector: Ancient Nickel Ingot Recipe

Scholar: 'Scholar's Writ' Recipe, 'Study of the Unknown' Recipe, 'Of Mysteries Most Profound' Recipe

Tailor: Ranger's Sash Recipe, Ranger's Cloak Recipe, Tapestry of Deeds Recipe

Weaponsmith: Ceremonial Dagger Recipe, Ceremonial Blade Recipe, Warden's Sceptre Recipe

Woodworker: Wood Figurine Recipe, Viol Recipe, Bree-spear Recipe

New Class Recipes for Tailors

New Captain Armament recipes for both Master and Supreme Tailors have been added to treasure. It is strongly suggested that Captains acquire a level-appropriate Armament before sending their Heralds into battle!

Additionally, a new multi-output Captain Standards recipe has been added to treasure. Note that this recipe allows the crafter to choose which Standard they wish to make, so be sure to choose carefully before executing the recipe!

Updates to Crafted Athelas Essence and Celebrant Salve Potions

We’ve updated the effects for all crafted Athelas Essence and Celebrant Salve potions. In general, we have increased the amount of morale/power received when using a crafted potion, while slightly increasing the variance. See the following chart for more details:
Developer Diary: Captain Revision
By: Ken "Graalx2" Burd

Overview

Volume III, Book 2 will address two main issues with the Captain class. First, their Standards give percentage-based additions to Melee Offense and Morale; this is untenable in the long run. As these numbers keep going up, a 10% or 20% bonus becomes overwhelming, plus it leaves no room to give additional bonuses as level caps are increased.

The other issue is that end-game Captains rarely trait in any other line than Hands of Healing. Both Lead the Charge and Leader of Men suffer from confusion over exactly what their bonuses should be doing. Is Lead the Charge useful for DPS or for Tanking? Is Leader of Men supposed to be used solo when using pets or in a fellowship for the buffs and revive abilities?

While looking at these issues, we discovered that Heralds would also benefit from some adjustments. Each type of Herald now has its own special skill. Heralds of War will tend to use their large auto-attacks more. In addition, the Herald of War has a new Coordinated Strike skill that does more damage plus does additional damage when attacking from behind. The Herald of Hope will now be able to “Lend Courage” that restores much more Morale than Lend Will. The Herald of Victory now will ”Lend Resolve” that restores some of the Captain’s Power in addition to Morale.

We also took the opportunity to change Armaments so that they give actual Armour ratings to your Heralds. Previously, Armaments used a form of Melee/Ranged/Tactical Defence that reduced the incoming damage by a percentage. This prevented us from adding in higher levels of Armaments (this is why there were no new Armaments after level 40).

Captain Standards

Let’s get these out of the way first. Currently, Captain Standards give a base 10% bonus to Melee Offense and 10% bonus to max Morale, with specific types of Standards increasing these bonuses. These bonuses will be converted to Melee Offence Rating and a straight addition to Maximum Morale.

While it is theoretically possible, with these Standards, to reach the cap of +30% Melee Offense, the Captain must have a near maximum Might, plus several other Melee Offense items equipped to reach that cap. What the Standards do is allow the Captain the ability to choose equipment that focuses on the other things the Captain is called on to do while still maintaining a high Melee Offense.

The Max Morale bonuses were built by taking a multiple of the Max Morale bonus available on items. This takes into account the high level increases in these items to keep the numbers close to what they were in absolute terms. While we are sure there are some Captains who specifically built their characters to maximize their Morale who will get less of a bonus from these Standards, we believe there will be just as many Captains who will actually gain more Morale or at least be approximately the same as before.

We realize that some Captains may see this change as a nerf, but it is necessary for the long term balance of the game. To help offset these changes we introduced a Tailor recipe for level 65 standards that is available in random monster loot.

Leader of Men and Lead the Charge Trait Sets

Ok, now for some changes that we think will be much more exciting. The first thing that has changed is the membership of the Trait Sets. The two Herald traits, “Loyalty” and “Precise Ally,” are being switched from “Leader of Men” to “Lead the Charge.” “Adherent of Elendil” and “Intimidation” are moved into “Leader of Men” from “Lead the Charge.” This change will make “Leader of Men” traits all deal with skills and bonuses to the role the Captain plays in a fellowship, while the “Lead the Charge” traits will now all deal with the Captain’s role doing damage and fighting solo. To further emphasize these changes the Trait Set bonuses, as well as the Legendary Trait capstone for both of these Trait Sets, have been updated.

Leader of Men

Two Trait Bonus – Retains the removal of the cooldown for all Mark skills. The same as before.

Three Trait Bonus – This becomes the 10% chance for “Kick” to initiate a Fellowship Maneuver. This is the same as the previous 4 trait set bonus.

Four Trait Bonus – Makes “Grave Wound” a Force Taunt. This is the same as the previous Four Trait set bonus from “Lead the Charge.”

Legendary Capstone Trait – now called “Leader of Men.” This trait gives a +50% threat rating to “Noble Mark.” However, the main thing that this trait does is to give every member of the Captain’s fellowship a lesser version of their Shield Brother buffs. So “Inspire” will give every fellowship member a small heal over time and “To Arms” will give everyone a +10% damage increase for a short while. The other “Shield Brother” skills give a similar level of buffs to the fellowship.

Lead the Charge

Two Trait Bonus - +15% Critical Magnitude. Same as before.

Three Trait Bonus - +5% reduction in Melee skill power costs. Same as before.

Four Trait Bonus - +5% increased chance to critical with a Melee skill. Note that is +5%, not an increase to the critical ratings so it will go over the cap.+

Legendary Capstone Trait – “Master of War” –A +50% damage bonus to “Shadow’s Lament” plus it no longer gives the increased threat that it had before. “Master of War” will also remove the need for a Defeat Event to use “Shadow’s Lament” at the cost of a somewhat increased cooldown. In addition, “Master of War” includes the Herald and Archer buffs previously bestowed by the “Master of Oaths” Legendary trait from the old “Leader of Men” trait set, including the ability to use the Oathbreaker Armament.

One piece of very strong beta feedback we received was that “Master of Oaths” was acquired through a very long, mostly solo, effort to build up Reputation with the Iron Garrison in Moria. The “Master of War” trait was acquired through completing the Volume 2 books in Moria, generally requiring a Fellowship. Players pointed out that doing solo content to get a fellowship oriented trait and fellowship content to get a solo oriented trait didn’t make much sense.

As a result the method of acquisition for the two legendary capstones has been switched. What this means is that a Captain with the old “Master of Oaths” trait will log in and see “Master of War” slotted and in his trait panel. A Captain with the old “Master of War” trait will log in and see the “Leader of Men” trait slotted and in his trait panel. You’ll have to re-trait to make sure you have the prerequisite traits slotted to enable the Legendary capstone, but other than that you’ll be good to go.

New Herald Skills

Our goal here was to give the Heralds an upgrade and to further differentiate the types of Heralds.

Herald of War
This Herald will now tend to use large auto attacks more. In addition their “Coordinated Attack” skill has been upgraded to “Coordinated Strike.” This skill does more damage than “Coordinated Attack” and even more damage when the Herald attacks from behind.

Herald of Hope
This Herald will now have an upgrade to the “Lend Will” skill. “Lend Courage” will restore much more Morale than “Lend Will”.

Herald of Victory
This Herald will now have an upgrade to the “Lend Will” skill. “Lend Resolve” will now restore the Captain’s Power in addition to their Morale.

Armaments

The last major update to Captain equipment is the conversion of Armament to give a +Armour Rating buff to all Heralds and Archers summoned while the Armament is equipped. This Armour Rating is used instead of the Defence bonus that Armaments were providing. The Armour Rating was chosen to give the Heralds the same overall defense they previously had, just in a more visible manner. The Armour Ratings given for each Armament is now displayed in the Armament description and is in addition to the inherent Armour Rating the Herald has naturally.

This will also allow us to add additional Tiers of Armaments to crafting. Given that Armour rating is relative to Monsters of the same level as the Armament, it would be a good idea to acquire a level -appropriate Armament at the first opportunity. You wouldn’t be caught dead in old level 25 armour, so don’t let your Herald suffer that fate!

Combined these make for some significant changes to the Captain class. We feel Captains are now in a better place and can’t wait to hear your feedback on these changes.

Hi all, Ransroth here! I’m a Game Systems Engineer working on LOTRO and today I’m here to tell you about the changes that are coming to a vault near you when Volume III, Book 2 launches!

Before this release, there was quite a bit of dissatisfaction internally with the existing bank. Managing items within it required a lot of hovering over them to see the tooltips, and finding a particular item was very difficult. Additionally, it wasn’t feasible to increase the capacity for the users, which we knew was something we wanted to do.

So, for Volume III Book 2 we decided to convert the bank to the same system the current Shared Account Storage uses. Let me briefly go over the key features of the Shared Account Storage, which have been incorporated wholesale into the new vault.

Dynamic Filtering

Each item in the vault has an item class associated with it. As we load in the items, we collect all these classes into a dropdown menu which allows you to then restrict your view to only items matching the particular class. For example, you can select “Legendary Item XP”, and immediately see all the IXP Runes stored in the vault, or select “Craft: Component”, and see all the crafting components. As part of the Volume 3 Book 2 update, we have reworked a lot of the item classes to make the names make more sense.

Sorting

You are able to select the sort method for the items in the vault. You can sort your items alphabetically, or in reverse alphabetic order. With the new vault, we will also introduce a new sorting method: “Chest,” described below.

Automatic Stack Merges

When adding a stackable item to the vault, that item will automatically combine with an existing stack if there is one. For example, if you have 40 Sturdy Hides already in the vault, and you come back with 20 more, you don’t have to hunt for the stack. You can just drag in the 20 Sturdy Hides and find a new shiny stack of 60 Sturdy Hides waiting for you.

One of the improvements in the new vault is that you can now do this even if your vault is full.

Beta Feedback

It seemed like converting the bank to use this system would be great. People liked the Shared Storage and we thought they’d like the new bank too.

Then we started the Beta Test. The response of the beta testers was tremendously negative, quickly growing the forum thread to over 40 pages. There were several concerns with the new vault. The primary concerns were focused on two factors – the inability for players to organize the items in their vault using whatever organizational system they preferred, and the inability to see all items in the vault on screen at once. Addressing either of these issues would require major work to fix, and normally we might have decided to hold off on making any changes until the next release. However, in case of user-organization, there was a critical reason to create a solution in time for the Volume III Book 2 launch. Beta feedback showed that many of our users had already spent several hours organizing their vaults just the way they wanted. If we didn’t provide them with the means to preserve their existing arrangement, then even if we introduced a user-organization solution in a future release, players would need to start from scratch and once again spend hours reorganizing their vaults.

The problem was how to implement and test an appropriate solution in the time available to us. I spent a while in talks with other engineers and designers and finally we were able to come up with a design that could be implemented within our time constraints and would serve to satisfy the immediate needs of the players. Thus were born the new “chests.”

The first version of the chest dropdown had an “Unassigned” entry, followed by “Chest 1” all the way to “Chest 10”. However, we realized that “Main Chest” was a better name than “Unassigned” and would map nicely to the way users had their items laid out previously. One of the advantages of the new chests is that there is no limit to the number of items that can go in any given chest. You could choose to store every item in your vault in the main chest or split them up as you see fit. We are also able to assign your items to chests based on where they were in the old vault.

Everyone was on board to implement chests quickly, but we ran into a problem that we thought might mean no chests for launch. The problem was one of auto-merge. Let’s say that you have 37 Sturdy Hides sitting in your vault and you come back from adventuring with 40 more. You could drag them in and just have a single stack of 77 Hides. This is great, but creates weird situations with chests. Say that you have Chest 2 displayed on screen and drag in your 40 hides. The stack of 37 hides may be hidden away in Chest 1. Do we take the resulting stack of 77 hides and put it all in Chest 2? Does the newly-grown stack just stay in Chest 1, but then the hides appear to disappear from the user’s screen? After quite a bit of discussion, we decided that the hides should stay in Chest 1, but that we would shift the user’s view to that chest.

Even without chests, there was a potential for items appearing to disappear due to the filter option, so we applied the new reasoning to the filter selection as well – if you drag in an item not matching the current filter, the filter is changed to display the item.

Given that this view-switching behavior might be a bit confusing to some players, we decided to display some basic vault usage tips whenever the current vault view was empty.

One of the great things about chests is that they gave us the ability to sort the items when viewing all of them, in a way closer to the way the user thinks of them. We can show the items in the Main Chest first, in Chest 1 second, etc. To select this sorting option, you can use “Chest” in the sorting menu. Items within each chest are sorted alphabetically.

Early on in our internal review, it became clear that we needed a better method to handle moving items between chests. Dragging items out to your inventory, selecting a new chest, and then dragging them back into the vault wasn’t very efficient. We chose to go with a right-click menu. Instead of items going straight to your inventory when right-clicked, we now display a context menu when right-clicking on an item. The context menu allows you to move the item into any other chest or to place it into your inventory. Note – double-clicking on an item will still send it straight to your inventory.

The first time you open the new vault, it will take a few moments before the vault will appear. This happens because behind the scenes, your items are being migrated to the new back end storage. Be patient, the pause is only there the very first time.

Other Improvements

Also in response to the beta feedback, we added a search feature. This will allow you to easily find an item with a particular word or words in the name.

It was quite clear to everyone that the version with chests was a big improvement on the original beta release, and the response on the forums was positive, but there was still some dissatisfaction with the lack of finer control within the chest and the inability to see all items at once. We weren’t able to address those concerns in the Volume III Book 2 timeframe, but we take them very seriously and are working hard to address them.

I’m very hopeful that in my next dev diary, I’ll be able to boast of many cool features that we will have implemented for the new vault!
By: Elliot “Avon” Gilman!

Wardrobe System

Volume III, Book 2 will introduce the Wardrobe System, a system guaranteed to take your hoarding habit to the next level. If you‘re like me, your shared storage and vault are busting at the seams with items, many of which are cosmetic outfits or have an appearance too nice to part with. The Wardrobe system is designed to store the appearances of these items and includes some unique features not seen with shared storage or the vault.

Using the Wardrobe

A major difference between the wardrobe and other types of storage is that an item moved into the wardrobe is copied; the original item will remain whereever it originated. The wardrobe will copy key information, such as the item’s name, appearance, description, and color, leaving the original untouched. What you decide to do with the original item is up to you and has no impact on its doppelganger in the wardrobe. You may decide to delete or sell the original to free up storage space elsewhere, or if the item is not bound to you, you can give it away to a friend. In a lot of ways this functionality is similar to how the outfit system works. You are never really moving clothing to an outfit slot but rather the outfit system copies the appearance to that slot.

Unlike real-world closets, this wardrobe can only store clothing and initially is limited to 20 items. Additional space can be purchased in the LOTRO Store in increments of 10, up to a total of 50.

It’s important to note that the wardrobe does not copy an item’s stats. Gear moved to wardrobe will look like the original but it can only be cosmetically worn, giving no benefit aside from making you look fabulous.

The wardrobe can be accessed by talking to any of the Vault-keepers. Clothing already stored in your vault and shared storage will have to be moved to your pack prior to being placed in the wardrobe. A simple drag-and-drop from your pack to the wardrobe will copy the item’s appearance and information to it.

The wardrobe has the usual sorting and filtering features you’re already familiar with, along with a new filtering option, “Colour,” which allows you to show only outfits of a specific color.

You can also search for items by name, a feature that has been added to shared storage and the vault as well.

Dying Items in the Wardrobe

Dyes can be applied to items in your wardrobe by using the dye and selecting the item you wish to have colored. When the dye is applied it will not overwrite the current color but instead add it to the item’s available list of colors. This allows you to collect all color variants of an item without taking up additional space elsewhere!

In the above screenshot the Lawgiver’s Robe has been dyed three times giving it a total of four colors to choose from. The default color is the non-dyed version of the item.

The Selection Colour, as seen in the screenshots, is a drop-down list of available colors for the selected item. Items that haven’t been dyed will only have one color to choose from. Use this selector to choose the color you want to wear before dragging the item to an outfit slot.

Wearing Items from Wardrobe

Wearing items from the wardrobe is as easy as opening your character panel, selecting one of your outfit tabs, and dragging the item from the wardrobe to the appropriate slot. The item in the wardrobe will remain there as your character takes on the appearance of it.

Removing Items from the Wardrobe

Removing items from the wardrobe is done by selecting the item you wish to delete and clicking the Remove Item button. This will completely purge the item and all its color variants from wardrobe with no chance of recovering it. Before the item is cleared you will be asked to confirm the deletion as this operation is irreversible.

The Other Feature

The wardrobe is shared among all of your characters on the world giving them access to the same clothes, potentially giving your low level alternates access to high level outfits. Furthermore, they can have access to outfits previously requiring reputation to wear. If a character obtains an outfit and meets the requirements to wear it, they can put it into the wardrobe for your other characters to use.

The image above shows a low level alternate character wearing an outfit normally requiring ally standing with the Elves of Rivendell. The character can use this outfit thanks to another character, on the same account, who met the requirements prior to adding it to the wardrobe.

Some Restrictions Apply

Not all items placed in the wardrobe can be used by your alternate characters. Some gear, such as armor or raid gear, cannot be used by other characters unless they meet the required armor proficiency of the item. For example, my Champion’s Rift gear can be placed in wardrobe but it’s only usable to my other characters who can equip heavy armor. Conversely, all of my alternates can wear my Lore-master’s Rift gear, as it only requires Light Armor proficiency.

We hope you enjoy using the wardrobe!
